A Brief History of Local Law Enforcement Facilities
In 2019, efforts to build a combined public safety building for both police and fire services were not approved by local voters, which led to the establishment of a new fire station that opened last year. With a full-time force of 30 officers and up to 15 seasonal employees, the necessity for a facility that accommodates existing and future personnel is clear.
