Welcoming New Voices to a Mission-Driven Board
In an inspiring move to bolster its mission of alleviating hunger and building food security in Monmouth and Ocean counties, Fulfill has announced the addition of three dedicated individuals to its board of trustees: Christine Gray, Antonio Ribeira, and Samantha Michaele. As the community continues to navigate the complexities of food insecurity, these new board members bring an array of insights and experiences vital for driving impactful change.
Bringing Expertise from Diverse Backgrounds
Christine Gray, who serves as senior vice president and chief of staff at OceanFirst Bank, brings over twenty years of banking expertise to the board. Her strong ties to the community and commitment to social causes reflect her leadership, making her an asset as Fulfill addresses the urgent needs of families in the area.
Similarly, Antonio Ribeira, principal of the Holmdel office at HBK, is well-versed in supporting not-for-profit organizations. His hands-on experience, coupled with a passion for volunteering at local food pantries, enables him to contribute valuable insights into the operational challenges faced by community organizations.
Completing the trio, Samantha Michaele serves as director of business services for the School of Social Work at Rutgers University. With her academic expertise and commitment to inclusion and equity within social work, Michaele is poised to further enrich Fulfill’s outreach and program development efforts.
Fulfill’s Commitment to the Community
Since its inception in 1984, Fulfill has been a lifeline for those facing hunger in the Jersey Shore area, distributing an impressive 1.3 million meals per month. Partnering with nearly 300 local organizations, including soup kitchens and shelters, Fulfill is dedicated to reaching those who need it most: families, children, seniors, and veterans.
As new challenges arise in addressing food insecurity, the addition of Gray, Ribeira, and Michaele marks a pivotal point for Fulfill. Their leadership is essential for the organization to adapt and thrive in its mission to serve the community effectively.
